I chased the chooks around the backyard last night with the camera, but didn't manage to capture everyone. Clockwise from bottom left we have Kiwifruit, Pinecone in the raspberries, Honeydew, Grape & Lychee hanging out, Abu & his lead lady Apple, Pinecone looking like a pinecone, then bottom right everyone pretending they're ostrichs and hiding their faces! In the centre is Abu the Roo with Prince Charming in the background. Figgy is sitting tight on her eggs and all is well in chookland.
What I've learnt today:
1. It's Day 20 for my incubating eggs, so according to Google I should see some action on the outside of the eggshells and maybe hear some peeping.
2. To feed the piggles I've now fruit thinned our apple trees to the point of emaciation, so have sent The Boss off with half a bucket of super sour crabapples to see how they'll go down. Fingers crossed.
